Hey everyone! How are you doing today?
Well, I think I’m still on a bit of a kick from yesterday’s masculine card, so today I’m bringing you a funky gift tag that would make the perfect ensemble to go with it!
What do you think? Fun huh?!
I started by die-cutting the tag from Rusic White cardstock using the Tag Sale #1 die. I then stamped it with Background Basics: Chevron Stripes using Berry Sorbet and Harvest Gold inks on the vertical and Hawaiian Shores on the horizontal. I then stamps the circles and splatters from Grunge Me using True Black ink. I added the sentiment from Boy Basics: Rock On using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I impressed the tag using the Vineyard Impression Plate then rubbed the raised surface with the VintageTouch Tea Dye Duo inks for definition. The edges of the tag were inked with a mix of Berry Sorbet and Spring Moss ink and the VintageTouch Chamomile ink.
I then stamped the guitar from Boy Basics: Rock On onto a separate piece of cardstock using True Black ink and overstamped it with the circles form Grunge Me using a mix of Berry Sorbet and Versafine ink then trimmed the guitar out. I adhered it in place using Pinflair Glue Gel.
Finally, to finish, I added the reinforcer cut from Berry Sorbet cardstock and and overstamped with the Grunge Me Circles, and some trims. The main focus is a piece of black leather thong that I rescued from some packaging, and tied it at various points using a mix of red and black May Arts twines.
So what do you think? A good accompaniment, no? I would love to hear your thoughts on this tag. I’ll be back again tomorrow with something new to share, thanks so much for stopping by!
