Hey everyone! Happy Thursday!
I’m back with another card for the Clean & Simple Card Making 2 class:
We were challenged to make a card that used a ‘technique’. To be honest, I’m not sure if this card is a ‘technique’ card as it only features using negative die cutting (read as: I was too tired to create last night, bad Taheerah!), but I’ll wing it for now and create another if need be!
As I say, not sure it’s much of a ‘technique’ card, but there you go!
I started with a Stamper’s Select White cardstock panel and die cut the hearts with the Simon Says Stamp Mini Heart dies.
Next I stamped the sentiment from Avery Elle’s Lots of Love with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I mounted the panel onto a Stamper’s Select White card base, with just a thin strip of Raspberry Fizz cardstock adhered to the base, so that the colour peeks through. The panel was mounted with foam adhesive (I know, no Pinflair, gasp!) so there’s a nice bit of dimension there too. 🙂
Right, hopefully I’ll be a better stamper tonight and create some more stuff! In the meantime I hope this entry passes. 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by, see you again soon!
great use of splatter
wow.
Adorable!
Well – technique or not – this is awesome! You have completely enabled me with that die too. Pinning this now!

This is one perfect card! Love the balance and composition! I love it THIS much–xo!
Such a beautiful card. Way to nail it, Taheerah! 🙂
Perfect! Love the pop of colour, use of negative die cut and bold sentiment. Great negative space. I love your card, Taheerah! Pinned it!
BTW: beautiful blog design as well:)
I LOVE your card.
It's exceptionally striking, plenty of white space and totally eye-catching. Just wish I could create this style of card, but I fail miserably.

I love this card and it fits well with the "leave lots of white space" theme today.
This is so sweet, T.! I love it!
You and your dies again! Love it! And seriously, how much of that sketchbook paper do you have? 😉
