Hey everyone! How was your Christmas? I hope you had a great one!
I’m joining in with the PTI Blog Hop for the first time in absolutely ages!
The challenge this month is to create something that is white-on-white:
Well, with all that gorgeous inspiration how could I resist?!
I decided to use this card from my 25 Days of Christmas Cards post to create a white-on-white version:
What do you think? I love how pure it is!
I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and stamped the letters to spell ‘JOY’ in the centre of where my wreath would be. The letters are from the Tim Holtx Mini Cirque Alphabet set and were stamped with Versamark ink before heat embossing with Filigree Clear embossing powder. TIP: white embossing powder on white cardstock just looks yuck – don’t do it!!
Now to create that gorgeous wreath! I used the Parisian Lace Doily die to die cut the doily, then used one of the Doily Details dies to create the centre opening. It gives the most awesome wreath that needs nothing to spruce it up! That said, I wanted this card to really dazzle, so I sprayed it with spray adhesive and coated with Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter to really set it off!
The wreath was then adhered to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel and that’s all there was to it!
I’m excited to see what everyone else has come up with! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you again soon!
Stunning card! Clever use of the dies too.
