Hey everyone – welcome to Day 4!
Today’s card is a total cutie featuring the Making Frosty Friends stamp set from Lawn Fawn! Goodness me I love these little snowmen so much!!
Adorable huh? And so quick and simple to make!
I started with a Vintage Cream card base and adhered two layers of the Echo Park Season’s Greetings patterned paper to it. This patterned paper is probably my all-time favourite Christmas patterned paper ever!! I bought 5 of them and even now I still use them sparingly!!
I stamped the cutie snowman onto Rustic White cardstock. I love stamping snowmen on this cardstock as I think it looks a little more ‘realistic’. 🙂 I coloured his nose with a Copic marker and cut him out. Just to note – I used Versafine Onyx Black ink when stamping but this is not Copic-safe, so I coloured his nose *very* carefully!
After this came his hat and scarf. I stamped these onto the same patterned paper collection and trimmed them out very carefully – even the little frayed scarf edges! I adhered the pieces of scarf and hat together (the hat and scarf were stamped on two different papers) before adhering to the snowman with Pinflair Glue Gel, and I used the same to adhere him to the card front.
All that remained was a sentiment, from PTI’s Christmas Labels set, which I stamped with Pure Poppy ink. And there you have it!
I hope to see you back here tomorrow for Day 5! Thanks so much for stopping by – please leave some love!
That snowman is super adorable!
SO adorable T! I shared a Making Frosty Friends card on my blog today too… one of my favorite LF sets. I just love how you used the plaid and newsprint together. So cool!
