Well I’m trying to keep yesterday’s momentum going and post another card today otherwise I’ll never get back in the swing of things!

I’ve been having so much fun playing with the goodies bought in my October orders that I can’t believe November’s order should be with me soon! Time really does fly when you’re having fun! Today’s card features two of my new sets – the fantastic Giga Guide Lines and the beautiful Tea for Two:

I love the fresh, vibrant feel of this card! It would suit masculine or feminine I think!

I started with a piece of Guide Lines I cardstock and stamped one of the medallions from Giga Guide Lines using black Versafine. I then added smaller medallions from Guide Lines II using Pure Poppy, Dark Chocolate and Spring Moss, stamping the Spring Moss medallions over the top of the large medallions for interest.

I then cut a piece from the patterned cardstock and adhered to a Stamper’s Select White card base. I used some gorgeous black Saddle Stitch ribbon at the border between the pattern and the base, adding a ribbon bow tied with a Ripe Avocado button. The button is tied on with some Rustic Cream Button Twine which I’d inked with Pure Poppy to colour it.

The teapot itself was stamped with black Versafine onto a piece of Rustic Cream cardstock which had been pre-cut with one of my Labels 1 nestabilities. I used the stamps from Vintage Labels to add borders using Ripe Avocado ink. The edge of the shape was then edged with a Memento Tuxedo Black pen.

Finally the sentiment, from Tea for Two, was stamped in the top right corner with black Versafine, and the teapot adhered in place with Pinflair Glue Gel.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this card! I never thought I’d get Tea for Two as I don’t drink tea(!), but I’m so glad I looked past that and got it as it’s such a beautiful set!! Can’t wait to show you what else I’ve made with it!! And what about those Giga Guide Lines – classy or what?!!
