Uniko Studio – Designers’ Favourites Revisited Blog Hop

Hey everyone! Happy Monday!

Today we’re having some extra fun over at Uniko Studio as we revisit an awesome older set for an awesome blog hop! But this month we’re shaking it up as it’s the last Revisited Hop of the year  – this time we’re each taking a look at a favourite set of ours and having another play with it!! So much fun!!!

I pulled out a set from the last release: Stunning Snowflakes. This is definitely my favourite set – I just adore the multitude of snowflakes and those darling sentiments!!

I channelled my inner Betsy Veldman a little, and came up with this:

What do you think? I l just love how it turned out!

I started by stamping my flurry of snowflakes onto my Rustic White card base. I used A:Muse ink in Bermuda and Mama Elephant ink in Hazel. For the brown snowflakes I swiped the inkpad across the stamps to give a bit of a distressed/woodgrain look.

When my snowflakes were done, I added the sentiment using Hero Arts Silver ink. There are so many awesome sentiments in this set, and I would totally use them all if I were not so stuck on this one!!

I added some of the smaller snowflakes in silver ink too. Next I used my Stunning Snowflake dies to impress into the card base! Can you see them?! Such an amazing detail in real life!

I used some Distress Ink in Vintage Photo to bring some warmth into the card, and to bring out those impressed snowflakes, before embossing a few of the little ones and finally adding some sequins to complete the look. I {heart} this card!!

So in case you are new to the Revisited Blog Hop then it couldn’t be simpler! You have until 23:59 UK time on Thursday 14th November (18:59 EST) to leave comments on the Design Team’s posts to be in with a chance of winning each designer’s favourite!! And believe me, even with no prize on offer you would want to comment anyway – their projects are *amazing*!!

Well that’s it from me for today, but I will be back tomorrow as usual with something new! I do hope you will leave some love before you head on your way though! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Oooooooooooh…..How incredibly gorgeous! I am breathless with the beauty of your delicately-hued and shimmery snowflakes. I can just feel the silence of a snowy day looking at your card. Wonderful.

How lovely of you to offer us a chance at your blog prize. Is it this snowflake set? You did not require us to follow you in order to be eligible (which I REALLY appreciate), but I am a brand-new follower of yours by BlogLovin, nonetheless. Yippee!!!!
