Once I received my Neat & Tangled Sparkle and Shine set I couldn’t wait to play with it! I have a ton of ideas for this set but for today I’m bringing you a modern take on an engagement card:

What do you think? I love this so much!!

I started by stamping out my sentiment onto my Stamper’s Select White card base using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I used another set from my recent huge craft haul – the Flashy Letters set from Mama Elephant! Love these letters! I was careful to leave a space where the ‘O’ would be in ‘Rock’ and arranged the sentiment so that the ‘O’ in ‘On’ would form the band for the ring. I created the exclamation mark with some masking on the letter ‘I’. Love it!

As for the diamond itself, I stamped it onto some more white cardstock, carefully applied Glossy Accents where there were no black lines and coated it with Donna Salazar’s Fairy Dust Glitter in Sugar Shimmer. I chose this over Martha Stewart’s glitter as it just has such awesome multi tones in it – really looked the part! I trimmed it out and adhered it to my base using Pinflair Glue Gel and I was all done!

Well I’ve had a thoroughly lazy day today lol, but hopefully I will have some crafting time tomorrow! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
