I’m back today because it’s time for the Neat & Tangled May release! We have *five* awesome sets being released this month!! And some awesome dies too!! AND some fun new embellishment mixes!! Definitely something for everyone, with some super-versatile sets!!

Today I’m helping to introduce a brand new stamp set and die combo called Gardenia Blooms. This is the *prettiest* most delicately detailed journalling card die I have ever seen – and the stamp set compliments it beautifully with some delightful sentiments and accompanying image!! You might have seen me sneak the die in yesterday’s post and it really is so pretty that I want to use it on everything!!

Here’s what I came up with: 

I love how this turned out!

I started by die cutting the journalling card twice from vellum. I stamped one of the cards all over with part of the image from the So Very Blessed stamp (just masking off to only get the roses portion on one side) and stamped it with Versamark ink before heat embossing it with WOW! Opaque Seafoam White embossing powder. On the other card I stamped the outline stamp from Gardenia Blooms Journalling Card using Delicata Gold ink. I then adhered the outline card on top of the embossed card to soften it. It’s so pretty in real life!!

I adhered my card on top of a panel of watercolour paper which I had, er, watercoloured and splattered some mist on! I added a sentiment from the stamp set, some sequins from some of our latest sequin mixes and a patterned paper flag and mat onto my card base and I was all done!
