I’ve been selected to be on my first ever Design Team!!!!!!

[cue crazy screaming, bouncing, scaring my cats, and much merriment]

and who, might you ask, do I have the absolute privilege, delight and honour to be representing?

If you haven’t heard of them already, Gel-á-Tins are an amazing stamping company, with fresh, unique designs, high quality products, countless possibilities, and unbelievably good customer service!!

Let me tell you a story … 

I was browsing the web one day for crafty stuff, and came across a wonderful project with cardstock hearts. They were stamped with a woodgrain effect, but the knots were shaped like hearts!! Adorable!!

Of course, I simply had to have it.

I contacted the blog owner and through that and a bit of my own research came across the lovely company that sold it … but unfortunately there was seemingly no avenue by which to purchase for an international customer. I was gutted.

But I decided to post a message on the company’s FaceBook page, asking if there was any online retailer who could help me. A wonderful lady, Jessica, the owner of the company herself, responded and offered to send me the set directly!!! Well I was of course thrilled and bowled over and immediately accepted her gracious offer. The set was out-of-stock at the time, but I was kept frequently in the loop about when the next shipment would arrive, and was e-mailed the moment they came back in stock, and then again when my beloved set was on its way!!

And when it arrived … *swoon*. 

The most amazing, high quality photopolymer stamp, housed in a metal tin (hence the name), such a wonderful design. But not only that – a complimentary thank you set, and a free little acrylic block too!

It was then I knew I’d stumbled across something truly special. A unique company, who truly cares and values its customers, fantasic products and little unique touches too!! I was sold!!!

So of course when the opportunity came to try out for the Design Team I did so without hesitation. I put my heart and soul into every project, tried my hardest – but ultimately it was my first ever attempt to submit to a DT and I wasn’t going to feel too terrible if I didn’t get in.

I couldn’t have been more thrilled this morning to hear the news that I’d been selected!!!!
