Evening everyone,
I’ve been playing more with my Damask Designs stamp set lately. I loved this set and it was one of the first PTI sets I owned, but I didn’t give it the attention it deserved while I played with the newer sets and tried to work out what I would make with that one. Well I’m finally putting that right and here is the first card I’ve made with it:
I started by stamping one of the larger damasks with PTI VintageTouch Chamomile ink onto Rustic Cream cardstock to cover the whole piece of cardstock. I then stamped the large flourish from Fancy Flourishes on top using VintageTouch Chai ink, and added a few of the smaller flourishes to it as well to make it a bit more extravagant. I then cut the piece into three and inked the edges with Chamomile and Chai inks.
I arranged the pieces onto a Vintage Cream card base. I lightly stamped Background Basics: Text Style along the bottom in Chamomile before stamping the sentiment and accompanying flourish in Chai. I added a couple of gems and a ribbon bow for finishing touches. Simple yet elegant!
Stunning Taheera. The soft colours are perfect.
Hugs,

Love your card! I've been on the fence about getting the Damask stamp set but after seeing your card, I'll have to go ahead and take the plunge!
Oooh this is so beautiful and elegant! Love the way you've combined the flourish with the damask – just stunning!
