Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!
So the title of my post might be a bit strange, but I will explain.
As you may know, I set myself a goal this year of making and posting a card every day. So far so good!
Then today/tonight I decided to make some cards for the latest Paper Crafts call. I managed to create one project, but it took a really long time. Then I started to jot down some ideas for other projects that I can hopefully find time to make tomorrow. Then I decided to try and complete a project for the Tuesday Trigger that has been sitting on my desk taunting me all week because I didn’t know what to do with it. After an age of trying to complete this card I realise it’s just not going to happen.
Then I start to panic a little. As I’m running out of time to create and post anything for today!
So here is my attempt of an ’emergency card’. It’s not going to win any awards, and it’s not my best, but here it is:
What do you think? Not too bad, right?
I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and stamped the large SU! Beautifully Baroque stamp using Versamark ink then heat embossed it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder.
I then watercoloured with some watered down Distress Paints before heat embossing the sentiment from Neat & Tangled’s Sparkle & Shine set. Done!
Short and sweet but that’s what happens when you have to rush and panic sets in! And just FYI – I checked the Moxie Fab blog and the Trigger actually runs for another week yet. So I will be going back to that card. Because I’m too stubborn to let it get the best of me.
I’m off to do the million and one things remaining before I can go to bed! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
