Hello everyone, and welcome back to Day 16! Not long at all until Christmas now – are you all ready?! I’m certainly not!
Today’s card all came from an idea that was fired off in my head after some inspiration from Amber. That Amber, she’s a genius. Anyway, it was after seeing this specific post, where she created a wreath from stamping Mehndi Medallion but masking the middle. Genius!! And whilst I didn’t do that at all with stamps, it did spark off another idea…
What do you think?!! I {adore} this so much!! Love it when a plan comes together!! ;o)
I started by die-cutting the Parisian Lace Doily die from Simply Charteuse cardstock. Next, I carefully positioned one of the Doily Details dies in the centre with some low-tack tape (I used Doily A, in case anyone is curious!), then passed it through my die-cutting machine again. The result? A beautiful, detailed wreath!!
When something in your card takes centre stage there’s no need for much else on your card. I tied some May Arts ribbon through a couple of the holes into a beautiful bow, with a loop at the top as if you were hanging the wreath.
All that was left was to heat emboss the sentiment from Peace, Love, & Joy using gold embossing powder and adhere the wreath off the Rustic White card base using Pinflair Glue Gel for dimension and I was all done!!
I want to thank you all for stopping by and I do hope you’ll be back tomorrow to see what I’m positing. It’s my crazyinsaneoutthere card and believe me, it is well worth stopping by for!!
See you back here tomorrow I hope! :o)
You are super clever! The die cut wreath turned out beautifully. Love that ribbon, too!
I love it! It's like an ornament on a card
Great card! I love, love, love that ribbon!
